HOSTING FRIENDS IS A FAST TRACK TO FATNESS.

sooooo! been a long week – my friend charisa came down from singapore a few weeks ago; and spent her final week in australia in none other than burn city! so, me and a few of her friends played host to her; which mainly comprised of eating, shopping, eating, eating…AAAND more eating. iv had brunch 4 times this week!! good, but…oh so bad at the same time.

i’ll split this post up into days as it’ll be too much food photo goodness for you readers’ poor eyes=P

last wednesday met up with diane, char + her friend polly at MoVida Aqui [at 500 Bourke St] after taekwondo training – me being the n00b i am in the business district of the city took well over an hour to find it; but the night was well worth it!

met the girls to find them giggling over the cute waiter who was looking after our table [he wasnt bad=P this continued over the entire night…including dropping forks and knives…im not sure if entirely unintentional=P] …and although there was a large delay between each dish being served, it TASTED SO GOOOOD.

we ordered a rabbit + pork terrine with breakfast radish, a mashed potato scallop dish [see photo], slow cooked beef cheeks in potato mash[?], and a spanish paella with fish + rabbit…creme flan for dessert.

i would rate all of them, but the scallops + paella at the end were the BEST! movida is a little on the pricey side, but with the quality of the food [and service – the said waiter was incredibly attentive:D] i would definitely be going back here again.

[everyone whipped their cameras out for food photos every time a dish arrived; our waiter asked us if we were live blogging our experience to the world HAHA]
